Blog Poles-1

As we blog on with our lives, we tend to read a little more. We bloggers are like virtual fisherman looking for little blog poles to yank out of the inter'net'. As I read on-line articles from sfgate.com (my prime source for PC Cali material), I become more and more fascinated by the comments, rather than the articles. Here is an example of a typical norcali statement and a response. The article is about plants and the effect of global warming.

I like the sfgate.com because they have the little voting icon under each comment. It's fun.

Hey (blogger) "Average temperatures in California rose nearly two degrees Fahrenheit during the second half of the 20th century, with urban areas blazing the way to warmer conditions. When scientists at NASA and California State University, Los Angeles, analyzed observations from 331 weather stations between 1950 and 2000, they found that average temperatures rose in 6 out of 7 of the states major climatic sub-regions." Taken from NASA's website at http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/NewImages/images.php3?img_id=17616. But, hey, what the hell does NASA know? They're probably part of the global conspiracy to convince us that global warming is real. I'm sure the scientific date from "blogger" is more on point.

to be continued...
